Google, and an interesting birthday wish…!

I am in awe of the diverse ways Google makes headlines. When they’d come up with the concept of decorating the logo on their homepage, I had loved it. And this is a nice testimony to that!
The idea was unique! Innovative! Like this birthday wish.

I am waiting to see what Google does, of this request, considering the umpteen options they have for December 2. Look at these and these.
A few that caught my eye were – it’s the day when Fidel Castro became the president in 1976; He stepped down in 2008.
December 2^nd also happens to be the day when Benazir Bhutto became the first woman prime minister of her nation.
It’s the National day of UAE. And the International Day for Abolition of Slavery (United Nations).

“Do they put the users first?” is what Eric asks. Well, let’s watch out what the logo says on December 2^nd!
