…….is a must-watch! Heart-warming. Thought-provoking.    Utter delight. Before you go ahead, if you haven’t watched it, continue reading at your own risk. Spoiler alert!…..

A simple story, revolving behind one simple truth of life – we    dream many dreams, but in the hustle-bustle of our “routine” activities, and under the pressure of the many pressures of life – society, job, security et al, – our dreams, remain dreams. For most of us. Many of ‘em.

Be it, not expressing your love to that childhood sweetheart of yours, even when, ever since you have known, every heartbeat of yours sang her(his) song, every moment you thought of her(him), you sent out a silent prayer, asking for her(him) happiness; be it, bearing your boss’s tantrums, silently, when everything in you wanted to go out, and thrash him; be it, buying that dream apartment, and not enjoying that view outside that balcony, the view that was the foundation for your choice of that apartment, a foundation – maybe stronger than that which held the building, the view that was lost because you chose to see the dust settled on the balcony grille; every moment portrayed in the movie, does touch a chord or two! Leaves you pondering!

I don’t wish to seem like a movie critic or reviewer, but I cannot stop myself from saluting Vinay Pathak’s performance. Superlative. Stupendous.
Your heart goes out to him when you see him crying on that pavement.
You are in tears, tears of joy, when he finally expresses his love. What a way to do it! Your heart jumps with joy, when you see that satisfaction on his face, when he walks away, completely wet, smiling! Satisfied. Happy, finally.

My choice of most memorable moments:
The proposal.
When he sleeps on his Mamma’s lap in that song.

The movie shouts out one single message at you – if you have a dream, live it. Today. In this very passing moment. Who knows, what’s in store for us, tomorrow!
Go ahead, learn some music, drive that dream car, express your love! Make that “To do” list!

Dasvidaniya. For now.
